Savar 06:08
Looking good Feeling good Looking good To feel good This never ending flood of goods It's more than we'll ever use Or ever could Blood on your hands Blood on your feet Blood dripping from the cracked skull of a woman you’ll never see Who suffers Who suffers for fashion? Savar, Tazreen Where'd you get those High waisted jeans Lahor, Karachi Where’d you get those Brand new sneaks? A life of suffering For Our life of ease They live to please, They live to please Tired hands Overseas All our slaves We won't see

Everything you wanted Everything you dreamed Everything you thought this life could be Everything you thought you’d see Don’t know how to feel how you want to Seeing what these sacred days turn in to You’re still the same It’s all just the same All the hopes you held for this precious decade And it just came and went It came and went Helpless as this body fades Mine are now numbered days We come and go One more life To just come and go Don’t know how to feel how you want to Seeing what these sacred days turn in to You’re still the same It’s all just the same We just come and go, We just come and go You’re still trying though We just come and go Where’d the time go?

What Hands 07:30
What Hands Draw the lines Beside these once youthful eyes What hands Fold this face over itself And won’t let it go What hands Fill the bags beneath These once hopeful eyes What can These hands Do To hold them Not a thing Not a thing Such devastation as a life passes through The obscuration of the makings of you Some day this all will end What hands Make gray What was once gold What hands Make this familiar sight Ever Unrecognizable What is this? Such devastation as a life passes through The obscuration of the makings of you Some day this will all this end?

Gilded Hour 05:34
Gilded Hour Lyrics A foolhardy feeling of belong Drapes about me All of my thoughts dissolve My mind is gone Let this life pass through me In the gilded hour I’m blind With the sun in my eyes I’m fine All feels right beneath this blanket of light In the quiet of this peaceful evening A simple being, no need for meaning I let go my self and enjoy the fleeting peace In the gilded hour I’m blind With the sun in my eyes I’m fine

Acorn Moon 03:36
Hide somewhere beneath the acorn moon Everything and nothing to do Lie alone here in my room Bare chest and it’s half past noon Here nor there, Between the two What I want and what I want to want to Here nor there, Between the two Life takes some getting used to Some self proclaimed reason to be Is all there is to sustain me And in that void, that vacancy It’s my voice that answers me Here nor there, Between the two What I want and what I want to want to Here nor there, Between the two Life takes some getting used to Some days it’s just hard to be And I give in, admit defeat Then I dust the crumbs off the sheets, Close my eyes Go back to sleep Here nor there, Between the two What I want and what I want to want to Here nor there, Between the two Life takes some getting used to
6.
Long before all the days unkind There was no one else, not another Now my eyes seem to steer my mind You’ve become one among others My will can’t stop the time My will can’t ease this mind There’s nothing more I could ask for I know, I know And he knows I won’t reconcile the divide between my heart and mind I’ve watched it grow with the lines in my face So I need to try to let go of you After all we had And she knows After all we had, After all we had
7.
Barb 04:00
In this photo I see you And my body right there next to you We’re some place, somewhere I’m sure I’ve never been to All that made me Who I was and have been to you Is but a fading mist I cant hold on to Together, but alone As I ease into the unknown How long until I don’t recognize you? I promise to love you As long as I remember to

Endless Choice Lyrics Chance has spared you The life they’re bound to Supply chains 16 hour day 6 day week An unimaginable life See the cost of all we consume Such brutality for fabricated needs Endless choice and the unseen behind it Endless choice means they’re denied it We keep it up, keep it up, keep it up What do you need? See the glut engulfing you And the bulwark that won’t let feeling through How many must suffer for the few, Seam by seam, screw by screw wasting, toiling for the new? Is it worth it? Are they worth it? Only chance has spared you The life they’re bound to

Hazy Demons 05:16
Can’t let it be the way it is Can’t see what’s here Or let it in Always fixed on getting there, so rarely here Knowing there’s no knowing how long I’m here What holds this anxious heart? What holds these roving eyes? What holds this restless mind? It’s unrelenting Hazy Demons of these fantasies Cloud my vision, won’t let me see Sights of a life I’ll never lead Sights of a self I’ll never be Can’t see the love surrounding me Won’t see a life in its entirety

about

Piecemeal, Believers' third release, is a collection of (mostly) long form pop songs that draw upon many sonic worlds; from Madchester to Kraut, from House to Shoegaze. The album explores the personal realities of aging, loss, and depression alongside the greater systemic realities of exploitative capitalism. The heaviness of the subject matter is set within a light pop framework, creating a lingering contrast throughout. Who knew a song about deteriorating could be so fun?

I have endless gratitude to Blake Henderson for his time, care, and expertise in the studio, without his help, I wouldn't have finished this thing. I am also very grateful to Nathan at the Record Machine for all his effort to help get it out into the world.

Thanks for listening, thanks for your support. I hope you enjoy.
